Please make note of the following important TERMS & CONDITIONS when booking with Jessica Cagney & her team. Please read the User Terms carefully as they are legally binding, and upon your booking with Jessica Cagney you agree to be bound by these User Terms. It is the responsibility of the client who books to understand, agree and be responsible for all booking conditions including all payments are made by specified dates.

Please note that all makeup and travel pricing are subject to change annually but the price that was quoted when you were first consulted and a deposit is paid, will be honoured. 

Wedding Deposits

Weddings dates are not reserved for you until a $100 deposit is paid, towards the makeup on the wedding day. The deposit will be deducted from your total invoice amount. 

Deposits - Formals, Special Occasion Makeup, Private 1 on 1 Makeup Lessons,

These bookings are not reserved for you until a $50 deposit is paid, towards the makeup on the day of the event. The deposit will be deducted from your total invoice amount​.

Deposits - Commercial/Advertising

Commercial and or Advertising bookings are not reserved for you until a $100 deposit is paid, towards the makeup/hair on the scheduled day. The deposit will be deducted from your total invoice amount. 

Travel Fees

Travel fees are incurred for the time traveling to your getting-ready location for the trial and wedding day. Please note the price will change for the trial and wedding day as the locations are almost always different places.

​Trials

Clients are required to pay the full amount for the trial on the day of the trial. 48 hours notice must be given if you wish to miss, cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to do so may mean you will be charged the full cost of the appointment. Trial appointments consist of 1 makeup application only, additional applications will incur charges per person. If you are not happy with the outcome of your trial, it is your responsibility to advise Jessica / Kirsty of this before leaving from the appointment. Although we are highly skilled in our craft we aren’t mind readers and do require your input. Reference photos of the makeup styles you would like to achieve are required before the day of the appointment no exceptions due to time. We all interpret makeup in different ways and your version of a natural makeup and my version of a natural makeup will be two completely different styles. Change of minds about booking with me or a completely new makeup style, after the trial is complete and you have left happy, will incur a fee of the same price. However slight changes, once you’ve worn the makeup all day will be fine. Also, feedback the day after the trial is great so expect a text message from me the day afterwards. I Love making sure you’re still 100% happy with the outcome. 

Bookings

Bookings will be subject to availability - please contact Jessica Cagney via jess@jessicacagney.com to confirm her availability. If for whatever reason you need to reschedule your wedding day, it will be transferred to your new appointment upon availability. If you need to reschedule and the new wedding date is not available for you, the deposit for your wedding will not be refunded. As my time and skills were already provided on the trial day. When a booking is made, I then have to turn away many other inquiries for the same day. If your wedding is canceled for any unforeseen circumstances, very seldom are we able to rebook another wedding as most weddings are booked months, sometimes years away. 

Trial Schedule Time

Please allow 1.5 hours for your appointment, as we have a lot to discuss when we meet for the first time. When making appointment times please note that these times must be adhered to. Should unforeseen circumstances arise, the onus is on the bride to advise Jessica Cagney as soon as possible.

Payments

The person scheduling the appointment will be responsible for full payment of all services, no later than 1 week prior to the wedding day. Any additional makeup’s added on the day of the wedding can be paid by bank transfer or cash before the makeup commences. We don’t like having to ask for payments, once the wedding photos start or as you’re running out the door, as it creates an awkward atmosphere. ​

Refunds

Jessica Cagney does not offer refunds for any completed services, therefore if you are in any way dissatisfied, the onus is on the client to notify the stylist whilst they are on location. 

​Cancelled Trials

You are asked kindly to give us a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your trial hair and\or makeup appointment. Cancellations or missed appointments without prior notice will be charged the full cost of the appointment. In extreme circumstances like death or emergencies, it will be held case by case. 

​Cancellation of Weddings

Due to the potential loss of other bookings whilst your wedding date has been held for you, the cancellation of any wedding day booking must be given in writing, by email and will only be confirmed upon receipt of this. 

The following cancellation fees apply if the booking is cancelled by you.

 • 3+ months prior to the date - None

 • 3 months – 5 weeks prior to the date - 50% of the booked amount quoted on your booking invoice.

 • 1 month and less prior to the day and under - 100% of the booked amount quoted on your booking invoice.

Confirmation of Numbers

It is the responsibility of the client to advise of any changes to number of people booked in for hair and\or makeup services, no less than 4 weeks prior to the booking date. If this has not been advised of within the time frame, the client is still liable to pay the full amount of services booked in as per the original invoice. Time Schedule for the day of the Wedding I require 1 hour per person and 1 extra hour on the wedding day for the makeup applications with NO exceptions, so I’m able to deliver the quality of service you expect. If you don’t want to start to early in the day if you have a large bridal party, the two artists of your choice will be provided. 

Jessica Cagney is not responsible if the desired completion time is not met due to wedding party delays. Jessica will allocate the times at which she or any other artist\stylist working with her needs to arrive. Jessica will notify her brides of her arrival time and the times that need to be honoured for the work to be completed to the correct standards. The order of the bridal party makeup is flexible and is decided by Jessica. As long as everyone is ready to start on the hour when Jessica or any additional artists are ready to start the next makeup application. Please note the bride NEVER goes last for makeup on the wedding day. Second last or earlier is always the best time no exceptions. The makeup used is top quality and my brides always let me know it lasted all night. The occasional bride will let me know they were even able to wear the eye makeup the next day. 

Parking Fees

In the event that any hotel/motel requires parking fees (for all the artists on the day) the fees are incurred as result of the location of the appointment, this is the responsibility of the bride.

​Allergies

Jessica Cagney or any artist working with her is not, under any circumstances, responsible for any allergic reactions to products used. The onus is on the client to notify Jessica Cagney or other artists, if you or others included in your booking have any hypersensitivity or allergies that you\they are aware of. 

If you get a reaction for the first time ever to a product used, antihistamine will be provided but we are not liable under any circumstances. Any doctor’s treatments or appointments needed for after care your own responsibility. Should you bring your own product that you are familiar with that you know doesn’t cause reactions, the stylist\artist will be happy to use your product. I will not use shop bought lashes of your own as they a cheaper quality and difficult to use. We only use top brands false lashes (not the ones that last 6 weeks) Any application of false lashes are included in the makeup booking - they are complimentary, and are your choice to have them applied or not. Discounts are not given if you choose not to have them applied. 

Jessica Cagney & other hairstylists \ makeup artists working with Jessica Cagney, reserve the right to refuse service on anyone displaying skin lesions, eye infections, head lice or someone who has fresh cuts \ bruising from any facial or neck surgery. If you have a cold sore, (disposable lip brushes will be used only and no lip liner from our kits will be used.)

​Commercial Bookings 

Cancellations of bookings require no less than 48 hours’ notice, failure to do so will result in the client being liable to pay the full discussed rate due to the potential financial loss of other bookings whilst the scheduled date had been reserved for you.   

 I acknowledge that Jessica Cagney may use my photographs or images for her portfolio and website. I confirm that I have read and understood the information provided and agree to Jessica’s terms and conditions. 

I understand that once I pay the booking deposit, I am legally bound by this document.

Jessicacagney.com operates jessicacagney.com and may operate other websites. It is jessicacagney.com policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites. 

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, jessicacagney.com collects non-personally identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. jessicacagney.com purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how jessicacagney.com visitors use its website.
